The setting

Frasnes-lez-Buissenal is situated in the heart of the Natural Park of the Pays des Collines.
The region is splendid, criss-crossed by countless small road passing through fields and woods then climbing or descending the hills. Old farms here and there put patches of red bricks into the landscape. At the bends of the road you discover now and then chapels, mills or other witnesses of the rural past.

The « Vieux pommier » is housed in an old barn adjoining the main building, built against a hill, in the middle of fields and close to the woods. The view is magnificent.

The accomodation is oriented towards the South, secluded from the road. It can be accessed by the parking of the owners. The entrance of the accommodation, in other words, is isolated and hidden from curious looks.

A flowered terrace shaded by a catalpa ends in an immense lawn bordered by charming hedges, pollard willows or wild roses.

At the back, a gigantic sandbox and outside games are waiting for children’s shouts and laughs.

The garden and the pool abound in typical local flowers which make the stay pleasant in every season.

In the orchard, you can discover old varieties of fruits, a collection of maples and various rare species.

In the neighbourhood, the view extends over a hilly scenery where fields and woods change of colour every season.
